01 · Kit

Get the pieces you actually need

The phone app alone covers Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, and TV control. Add the PC agent for the Wi‑Fi pad, power, QR pairing, now-playing, and your own app tiles.

PC Controller

On Google Play (closed testing). Install, accept the agreement, and pair Bluetooth from the Connect tab — or jump straight to the agent below.

WINDOWS

PC Agent

Unzip, double-click SkitzPcAgent.exe. A dark PIN window appears, then it hides to the tray. No terminal. It updates itself from this site.

LINUX

PC Agent

Extract, run Install SKITZ PC Agent.sh. Python 3 is enough. Uninstall from the window or the uninstall script. ARM machines use the arm64 archive.

Linux x64 Linux ARM

Windows SmartScreen may warn on the unsigned helper — that is expected until the exe is signed. The phone app and the agent verify every update against the SHA-256 list on this site.

02 · QR pairing

Pair without typing

The agent draws a pairing code on your PC screen. Scan it with the phone's camera and PC Controller opens, already pointed at your PC — the PIN travels inside the code. Prefer typing? The PIN is on the agent window and on that page.

  1. Run the agent, then open http://localhost:8787/pair on the PC.
  2. Scan the QR with the phone camera.
  3. The app opens on the Agent tab — connected.

03 · Two ways in

Bluetooth or the same Wi‑Fi

Bluetooth HID

The phone advertises as a real mouse and keyboard. Pair from Windows (or a TV that accepts a BT keyboard) and keep the app in the foreground. Force-stop Skitz Controller if the cursor never appears — only one SKITZ app can own the HID slot.

Wi‑Fi agent

Phone and PC on the same network. Pair by QR or PIN, and the pad, keyboard, media, power, app tiles, and clipboard all go over the LAN — with read-backs like the real PC volume and now-playing.

Six tabs, one desk

Touch
A living touchpad with an ambient glow, filled sensitivity sliders, and media keys under the pad. Tap to click, two-finger for right click, swipe up for the keyboard. Volume taps read the real PC volume back to you.
Shortcuts
A presentation deck (Prev / Next with hold-to-repeat, Start, Black, Esc), launch tiles for your pinned apps, and your own macros as recorded key sequences.
PC
Lock, Sleep, Restart, Shut down — destructive actions ask twice. Works over the Wi‑Fi agent or Bluetooth.
Agent
QR and PIN pairing, a Your PCs switcher if you pair more than one machine, a Now playing card fed by the PC, and a searchable catalog to pin your own app tiles.
Connect
Scan Bluetooth PCs and Wi‑Fi TVs, make the phone discoverable, and manage saved pairings.
TV
A real remote for Roku, Samsung, LG, Bravia, and Android / Google TV: d-pad, volume with live readback, transport, and one-tap streaming apps.

05 · Agent

Install, update, uninstall

    Windows

    Download the zip from this page, extract the whole folder, run SkitzPcAgent.exe. Optional: start when you sign in. Hide the window — it stays in the notification area with a full tray menu.

    Linux

    Extract the tar.gz, run Install SKITZ PC Agent.sh. App menu: SKITZ PC Agent. Needs Python 3 (already on most desktops).

  3. 03
    Pair

    Same Wi‑Fi. Scan the agent's QR (open http://localhost:8787/pair on the PC) or use Agent tab → Find PC → PIN. Pairing tokens survive agent upgrades.

    Updates

    The agent (1.4.1 and later) checks the update list on this site, downloads only allowlisted archives, and verifies SHA-256 before replacing files. Older helpers do not self-update — install this zip once.

  5. 05
    Uninstall

    Windows: Uninstall in the PIN window or tray. Linux: Uninstall in the window, or Uninstall SKITZ PC Agent.sh. That removes pairing data and the program folder.

06 · Phone

Get the app on your phone

    Install from Google Play

    PC Controller is in Play's closed-testing track. Open Play on the phone, accept the tester invite, and install.

  2. 02
    Open and sign

    Accept the user agreement on first launch — the app stays closed until you do.

  3. 03
    Pick a look

    Five themes plus an Auto mode that follows your system, and a Colorful icons toggle for vivid per-app colors on any of them.

  4. 04
    App updates

    Updates arrive through Google Play. The app never downloads or installs APKs itself.

07 · Notes

Before you write it off

The cursor never appears on Windows

Force-stop Skitz Controller (the other SKITZ remote). Only one HID keyboard/mouse app can own the slot. Re-pair as PC Controller.

Samsung will not turn on

Enable Power On with Mobile in the TV network settings. Connect once while the TV is on so its MAC is saved.

TCL / Google TV connects but does nothing

Wi‑Fi pairing can be a false success. Pair the phone as a Bluetooth keyboard in the TV’s remotes list instead.

Does anyone see my PC?

No. Commands stay on your LAN or Bluetooth. This site only hosts the agent archives and the update list. Read the privacy policy and terms of service.
